Timetable & learning outcomes
This summer school is a unique opportunity for young researchers to develop new interdisciplinary approaches that will benefit them throughout their careers. Participants will not only learn about specific concepts and scientific advances, but also how to view their own field of research from a new perspective.
You can download the provisional timetable here.
Please note: the schedule is presented in Central
European Summer Time (CEST). Detailed information will be provided after the
course instructors have been selected, according to their specialisations.
Expertise upon completion
This summer school promotes participants' general ability to collaborate across disciplines. In particular, they learn about the approach of “philosophy in science” and the value of philosophical tools for addressing scientific questions. In addition, their teamwork skills are trained. Finally, the summer school introduces them to current topics in the life sciences for which such an interdisciplinary approach is particularly suitable.
A certificate of participation will be awarded to students upon completion of the course.
Programme may be subject to change.
